Eric Thomas The Hip Hop Preacher

Eric Thomas, ET The Hip Hop Preacher, is a motivational speaker who has gotten quite a large audience following him over the past few years. His YouTube Channel stats show that he has over 21,000 subscribers and his videos have had about 2,800,000 views. The video that spread through the affiliate marketing industry and has become pretty popular is his original video on the Secrets to success. Well, ET was one of the keynote speakers at Affiliate Summit West and gave a very good keynote. After the keynote, Travis gave him a couple PeerFly shirts. We were very surprised and happy to see that in his next video he was wearing one of our shirts!

We love ET’s motivational videos and hope you enjoy them as well. Keep motivated as you develop your affiliate campaigns you will be successful!

Affiliate Summit West 2012 RECAP

Affiliate Summit West 2012 was PHENOMENAL!!!

The conference was held at Cesear’s Palace on the Las Vegas strip. Great hotel rooms, great casino, and the Conference Hall location was nice and roomy.

The PeerFly Team was out in force in Las Vegas last week for ASW12. Chad, Charlie, Corinna, Davey, Luke, and Travis were there to help work the PeerFly Booth. PeerFly staff also held multiple meetings with advertisers and publishers. We had a lot of fun and worked very hard to cultivate some great new opportunities for our publishers.

During the show, we gave out our new Vegas-themed shirts at the conference, and the reaction to the shirts was very positive. We found multiple people in the crowd wearing our current and prior PeerFly shirts, and brought them back to the booth so they could pick a card and win some cash! On the last day of the conference we had a drawing for some apple products including an Apple TV and an Apple iPad2.

 

 

 

The conference was a huge success and it was great meeting so many of the people we work with and being able to put faces with names. We hope to see more of you at the next show!

Cash Flow Fees Reduced

We are happy to announce that our PeerFly Cash Flow early payment request fees will be reduced tomorrow for a limited time. We reduced the fees last year during this time of the year and saw an amazing response from our publishers and got some great feedback so we thought we’d do it again this year.

The new rates will be changed (for a limited time) to:

  • 8 hour payment: 10%
  • 3 day payment: 5%

As long as your balance is over $50 you will be able to request an early payment at these rates on our Cash Flow page (the rates will be updated on that page when they are changed). Make sure you check our Twitter and your email for updates once the rates are changed so you can get your request in before they’re changed back!

Pending Applications

If you have applied to PeerFly over the past month you have probably noticed that our waiting time for new applications has increased quite a bit. No, we aren’t just ignoring your application until you email and call us so much that we finally review it :)

Actually, we are receiving quite a few more applications than we normally get! It’s a great problem to have and we are doing our best to get through new applications as soon as possible, but the wait time has increased a bit. So, we’ve improved our system to show you how long exactly you can expect to wait.

You can easily see in the image above that this publisher has 24 applications ahead of him and his approximate wait (this is our best guess, it won’t always be perfect) is 4 hours and 40 minutes.

We will review your application as soon as possible and you will get an email once your application is reviewed telling you if you have been approved or not. Please do not email or call us asking to expedite your application. If you are unsure if you have completed all the verifications steps or have any questions about your application please send contact Luke.

Affiliate Summit East Wrap Up (ASE11)

Well, it’s been a few weeks since we got back, but it is finally time for an Affiliate Summit East wrap up post.

Our ASE11 booth was a big success. We had thousands of people walk by and made a ton of great new contacts (on both the advertising and publishing end of PeerFly). We will be adding a ton of great new offers over the next couple months from all our new clients, so if you’re a publisher keep your eye on our new offer email notifications!

As anyone who has ever attended an Affiliate Summit knows, one of the major perks is the giveaways. Most booths (including PeerFly) were giving away prizes to people who were willing to enter. So, we got a New York Yankees bucket (pictured above) and collected about 500 cards. At the end of the last day of the conference we drew one random person’s card and the person drawn won a new white iPad 2. He’s pictured below.

Affiliate Summit is AWESOME

Affiliate Summit is a great event to attend. PeerFly has attended 3 Affiliate Summits now and I can honestly say it is more than worth it for any affiliate to attend. The sessions are great and the connections you can make networking with the people from around the industry are more than enough to cover the cost of attendance.

I mean, you get to meet cool people like me!
